Handwoven Cotton Placemats

Woven on a 45” Macomber Floor Loom
Warp: 4 Shades cotton: white, off white, beige and khaki
Weft: thick and thin beige cotton yarn

Each placemat is made by hand, one at a time in our Bristol, Rhode Island studio. Our loom is set up and threaded with a 4 color warp in alternating color blocks. Two shuttles containing thick beige cotton and thin beige cotton weft are then thrown back and forth in a rep weave pattern, creating ribs of separate color.
CARE:
Machine wash cold, dryer safe. Warm iron with steam when needed.
